The "Bauhaus Neue" poster features a playful arrangement of geometric shapes on a light gray background. Dominating the design are large black curved forms interspersed with white circles of varying sizes. These elements are accented by bold blocks of primary colors - red, yellow, and blue - positioned around the edges. A small, stylized blue eye peers out from one of the black shapes, adding a whimsical touch.
At the top left, three small circles in blue, yellow, and red are stacked vertically. Multicolored stripes appear at the top right and bottom right corners. The composition is balanced yet dynamic, with curved and circular forms creating a sense of movement. PosterLad is an art project by renowned designer and artist Vratislav Pecka. He believes that a poster does not always have to promote an event or product.
The main common features of Vratislav Pecka's work are basic shapes and vivid colors. His work was influenced by the Bauhaus school and a certain nostalgia for and memories of the 90s.
The PosterLad project started in 2016. Pecka's style is constantly evolving, and the artist does not stick with one style for too long. Within a few years, PosterLad became popular on social media and was awarded a couple of major international design awards.
